Duties
- Create floral arrangements for various occasions such as weddings, funerals, and special events
- Design and arrange flowers according to customer preferences and specifications
- Provide recommendations and suggestions to customers regarding floral selections
- Maintain inventory of fresh flowers, plants, and floral supplies
- Ensure that all floral arrangements are properly cared for and maintained
- Assist with the setup and decoration of event venues as needed
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Floral Designer or in a related role is preferred
- Knowledge of different types of flowers, plants, and floral arrangements
- Strong artistic and creative skills with an eye for detail
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with customers and understand their needs
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
- Basic computer skills for e-commerce platforms and point-of-sale (POS) systems
- Customer service experience is a plus
