Description
Description Freytag's Florist, a family-owned and operated flower shop serving Austin since 1974, is one of Austin's most established and respected florists. We are seeking an experienced floral designer to join our talented and professional team. We're looking for a designer who takes pride in their work, works with consistency, and thrives in a fast-paced, professional environment. Our designers focus on what they do best, creating beautiful arrangements. Unlike many flower shops, you won't be pulled away for phones, flower processing, or bucket cleaning. We have a dedicated team for that. Freytag’s Florist is proud to offer the following benefits to our full time team members: $20 per hour, plus tips. While tip amounts cannot be guaranteed, they have historically been $6,000+ per year. Health, Vision, and Dental Insurance 401k Company-sponsored Life Insurance Paid Vacation after one year of employment Employee discount up to 50% off Six Paid Holidays throughout the year Requirements Minimum 2 years of experience in a retail flower shop Strong knowledge of fresh floral product, design techniques, and mechanics Ability to execute both traditional and contemporary styles with confidence Ability to stand for the duration of a shift Professional appearance and demeanor Positive, dependable, and team-oriented Passion for quality and excellent customer service
Responsibilities
