JOB SUMMARY:

Infinity Events & Décor is the one stop luxury events boutique in Saskatchewan, offering services that include Event Design, Event Planning, Coordination, Décor Rentals, Photography, Videography, Florals and Jewelry. We are a rapidly growing small business that is fun, energetic, team focused, and a female lead company seeking the right person to jump in and grow with us.
The Floral Designer will be responsible for conceptualizing, designing, and creating floral arrangements for weddings, events, corporate functions, and retail sales. This role requires a strong sense of artistry, excellent knowledge of flowers and greenery, and the ability to translate client visions into stunning floral designs.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Proven experience as a Floral Designer or in a similar role.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing a range of floral designs and installations.
  • Extensive knowledge of flowers, foliage, color theory, and floral care.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to lift and transport flowers, vases, and décor materials.
  • Flexible schedule, including availability on weekends, evenings, and holidays when required.

Responsibilities
  • Primary in house floral designer
  • Design and create floral arrangements including bouquets, centerpieces, installations, and decorative displays.
  • Consult with clients to understand their vision, theme, and budget, and provide creative recommendations.
  • Client quotes for florals
  • Source, condition, and maintain fresh flowers, greenery, and supplies to ensure high-quality arrangements.
  • Stay current with floral design trends, seasonal availability, and innovative techniques.
  • Collaborate with the event and décor team to ensure cohesive design concepts.
  • Set up and dismantle floral installations on-site as required.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the floral studio, tools, and storage areas.
  • Track floral inventory and place orders with suppliers as needed.
  • Manage floral budgets for events and retail, ensuring cost-effective use of materials
  • Selecting vases for styles and designs
  • Ability to make a wide variety flowers - centerpieces, bouquets, bouts, arch pieces, floor pieces
  • Actively drive sales through client consultations, upselling, and cross-selling floral products and event packages
