JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a creative and passionate Floral Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong eye for design, an understanding of floral arrangements, and the ability to provide exceptional customer service. As a Floral Designer, you will be responsible for creating beautiful floral arrangements for various occasions, assisting customers with their selections, and maintaining the overall aesthetic of our floral displays.

EXPERIENCE

Candidates should possess the following skills and experiences:

  • Previous experience in floral design or a related field is an asset but not required.
  • Strong retail sales experience with a focus on customer service.
  • Proficiency in cash handling and POS systems.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Experience with e-commerce platforms is beneficial.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: From $16.50 per hour
Expected hours: 34.5 – 43 per week

Responsibilities
  • Design and create unique floral arrangements for everyday occasions, events and weddings.
  • Provide excellent customer service by assisting clients with their floral needs and preferences.
  • Maintain rotation of inventory of flowers and supplies, ensuring freshness and quality.
  • Manage point-of-sale (POS) transactions accurately and efficiently.
  • Handle cash transactions and perform cashiering duties as needed.
  • Collaborate with team members to execute merchandising displays that attract customers.
  • Communicate effectively with customers.
  • Maintain organized workspaces to ensure efficient workflow.
