$15.00 - $18.50 PER HOUR GENERAL PURPOSE The purpose of this position is to ensure the quality, freshness and product assortment of fresh flowers is maintained for all fresh floral deliveries made to the Floral Design Center. This person will be processing floral deliveries from growers, ensuring quality, checking loads against invoices, breaking down and organizing loads and pulling flowers for special arrangements. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES · Follows established departmental and store policies and procedures · Ensures the quality and freshness of all floral products delivered to the Floral Design Center · Working with the Design Center Coordinator, responsible for maintaining the appropriate product assortment and inventory levels for the Distribution Center · Breaks down and organizes new deliveries · Pulls floral orders to be sent to stores · Pulls flowers for special orders; weddings, funerals, etc. · Assists with inventory and ordering · Works with vendors and growers to order fresh cut flowers for the Distribution Center · Verifies orders and invoices with the Design Center Coordinator and performs quality audits · Delivers excellent customer service to all customers · Completes assigned tasks efficiently and in a timely manner · Sets a professional and positive example to others · Assists as needed to ensure the success of the Distribution Center as a whole MARGINIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES · Performs other job-related duties as assigned NATURE OF WORK CONTACTS · Consistent and daily interaction with store associates · Consistent and daily interaction with customers · Consistent and daily interaction with vendors TRAINING & QUALIFICATIONS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
