Description Leafwell is looking for MDs and/or DOs who would like to join the team and certify patients in-person for medical cannabis on a per-diem basis. We are open to applications from doctors in the Jacksonville area who believe in cannabis as medicine. If you are licensed in multiple states, we would welcome you on to our telehealth platform as well. About Leafwell: At Leafwell, we believe cannabis is medicine, and our mission is to unlock the therapeutic potential of the plant by increasing access, research, and education. Leafwell considers cannabis a pharmacy in a plant. It has the versatility and safety profile to help millions of people and provide a better alternative However, much work needs to be done, and the problems listed above still need solving. Leafwell is working to help crack the cannabis code and utilize our platform to: Increase Access Telemedicine allows everyone to receive the health care they need and deserve from the comfort of their home. Patients can speak to a physician and get certified online. In Florida- we have multiple clinics for in-person visits as well as n Increase Research As more patients are certified, the greater the number of patient populations we can study for research. We are gathering real-world evidence (RWE) to understand better which cannabis products people are using and how effective they are – decipher which cannabinoids, terpenes, and flavonoids are best for which conditions. Increase Knowledge Leafwell’s healthcare professionals become armed with the resources they need to answer patients’ questions with accuracy and clarity – increasing trust and helping people understand why cannabis is medicine. Increase Education Patients from all over the country can find out how and why they use cannabis and its effectiveness for their conditions. Requirements Key responsibilities Meet with patients in person at our FL clinics and events. Meet with your renewals 7 months after the in-person visit via our telemedicine platform. Provide a high quality, compassionate experience Work collaboratively with our in-house patient care team to deliver a great end to end experience Become part of Leafwell’s ongoing education and research programs, helping to demystify cannabis as medicine

Responsibilities

Conduct in-person medical cannabis certifications at clinics and events in Florida. Manage patient renewals via a telemedicine platform and participate in ongoing education and research programs.
