We are now looking for a Flow Assurance Engineer for one of our customers based in Oslo/Stavanger. Duration: 6 months, with option for extension Responsibilities: Engineering of OLGA multiphase flow models for online real-time use Deploying/Developing OLGA Online workflows (Pigging, Hydrate, LDS, VFM, among others) Real-Time integration of OLGA models with client control system and user interface Collecting, collating, and interpreting client data Perform client witnessed factory acceptance and customer site installation and acceptance testing. Create project documentation (specifications, test procedures, user manuals) Develop and maintain engineering documents (P&ID mark-ups, control schematics) Perform testing, reviews, and quality assurance. On-site system installations including field data connection. Deliver customer on-site end user training. Developing web user interface screens Exposure to Digital Production tools and systems Integration of production domains with other operations/data platforms: APIS, Cognite, Data Historians, among others. Participate in global project teams Deploying or maintaining existing projects Estimate hours on project tasks, in cooperation with lead engineer. Use and document changes to all working processes in a global wiki-system Requirements: Master's degree (preferred) or bachelor's degree in engineering (petroleum, mechanical, process, chemical) or hard science (physics, chemistry, and maths). Relevant work experience may compensate formal education. 10+ years of relevant experience Interpret P&IDs, instrument data sheets, well schematics, piping isometrics, pipeline alignment sheets, well tests. Flow Assurance/Simulation OPC DA/HDA/AE/UA knowledge is an advantage. Knowledge of dynamic process/pipeline simulation tools. General interest in IT/OT and its applications in Oil and Gas Industry Knowledge of Python are considered an advantage for the position. Responsibilities
The engineer will be responsible for engineering OLGA multiphase flow models for real-time use, deploying OLGA Online workflows, and integrating these models with client control systems and user interfaces. Key tasks also involve creating project documentation, developing engineering documents, and performing system installations and end-user training on-site.
