Responsibilities

✅WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Drive ASRS performance using SCADA, CCTV, WMS/WCS to maximise system uptime and efficiency.
  • Lead and support a team of Flow Room Controllers to deliver daily operational targets.
  • Make fast, data-driven decisions to prevent bottlenecks and maintain flow.
  • Ensure timely processing of all mail types and communicate KPIs to operational leaders.
  • Step up to cover Flow Manager duties during absence.
  • Own and update SOPs for systems and flow room processes.
  • Act as first-line support for system and mechanical issues raised by operations.
  • Direct engineering teams to resolve faults and prioritise critical incidents.
  • Manage vehicle movements via YMS to optimise dock, yard, and trailer utilisation.
  • Analyse SCADA trends to identify recurring faults and support preventative maintenance.
  • Coordinate with Engineering to ensure asset availability for PPM.
  • Report and escalate system faults accurately to resolver groups and leadership.
  • Adjust system parameters to maintain optimal product flow.
  • Build strong cross-functional relationships with warehouse, transport, and planning teams.

  • Experience designing and maintaining flow room/system processes.
  • Proficient in SCADA and WMS platforms.

  • Calm and effective under pressure in a fast-paced automated environment.
  • Adaptable, open to new ideas, and responsive to change.
