Job Summary:
The Fluid System Test Engineering Specialist is responsible for performing engineering and functional duties involved in the ongoing laboratory operations. Acts as liaison to the customer from start to finish applying engineering support and maintaining vital information throughout the testing procedure. The Fluid System Test Engineering Specialist develops, implements, monitors, and coordinates testing programs by performing the following duties either personally or through subordinate personnel. This position reports directly to the Laboratory Manager.
Duties:
- Major Responsibilities:
-Responsible for functional duties and support to Laboratory Operations. To include but not limited to quoting, fixturing, review of specs, test setup, implementation, execution, report writing and review of all data.
Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering with a focus on Fluid Systems, or related field
- Proven experience as a Test Engineer or similar role
- Fluid Systems experience
- Familiar with Test Specifications such as SAE J2044, SAE J2045, SAE J2260, GMW 15964, FCA PF. 90197, Pressure pulsation, vibration testing, & Thermal Shock testing
- Proficiency in testing tools and techniques
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Ability to operate/ Familiar with Webasto battery cycler, A&D DAQ software, and script writing.
-Ability to write and run vibration profiles using Vibration Research software.
-Familiar with vibration concepts. Familiar with principles of fluid dynamics

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $65,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
