Position Title: Fluid2Chip Consulting & Lab Operations Director
Position Location: Remote - work from anywhere in the United States. Must be located near a major airport.
Travel Requirements: Up to 50% travel; relocation may be considered for long-term project needs.

JOB SUMMARY

The Fluid2Chip (F2C) Consulting & Lab Operations Director will define and lead F2C’s fluid quality consulting practice, lab equipment strategy, and testing programs. This role will ensure every direct-to-chip cooling system we support meets exacting cleanliness and performance standards, setting the industry benchmark for liquid cooling quality.
The Fluid2Chip Consulting & Lab Operations Director will be self-directed on day-to-day work and independently performs most responsibilities. Will lead project teams and projects of complex scope and broader programs. Will coordinate activities of other personnel. Assists in the development of policies and procedures.
This person will communicate and operate in line with organizational goals and values, as well as departmental objectives.

Responsibilities

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Technical Leadership – Lead the design and implementation of F2C’s fluid quality consulting services.
  • Lab Development – Specify, procure, and oversee installation of advanced lab and testing equipment for water chemistry, particulate analysis, and flow performance.
  • Testing Strategy – Define and implement standard test protocols for fluid loops, components, and system integration.
  • Quality Assurance – Establish fluid cleanliness and treatment standards, driving consistency across all projects.
  • R&D Collaboration – Partner with engineering teams, vendors, and clients to test and validate new cooling technologies and materials.
  • Knowledge Leadership – Publish findings, present at industry conferences, and position F2C as a thought leader in liquid cooling.
  • Team Building – Hire and develop lab technicians and fluid engineers to support ongoing operations.
