We are looking for a Senior Flutter Developer to join us on a 2-month contract with immediate start. This is a hands-on individual contributor role, ideal for someone who is highly self-reliant and comfortable owning delivery end-to-end. A key focus of this role is integrating our mobile app with a third-party platform via REST APIs, ensuring reliable data flow, robust error handling, and a seamless user experience. You’ll work closely with product, design, and backend teams, but are expected to operate independently and drive progress without needing heavy oversight. What You'll Do: Lead integration of our Flutter app with a third-party REST API Design and implement reliable data flows between systems Handle authentication, syncing, and edge cases gracefully Build, extend, and maintain features in our Flutter mobile application Take ownership of delivery from implementation through to release Improve the existing codebase for performance, readability, and maintainability Ensure smooth, responsive, high-quality user experiences Debug and resolve integration issues and inconsistencies Collaborate cross-functionally to deliver production-ready features What You Need to Get the Job Done (Minimum Qualifications) Required: Strong commercial experience with Flutter and Dart Proven experience integrating third-party REST APIs in production Experience handling auth flows, retries, rate limits, and error states Ability to work independently with minimal oversight Experience working with existing production codebases Solid understanding of mobile architecture, state management, and data flow Strong debugging and performance optimisation skills Experience working with backend-as-a-service platforms such as Firebase, Supabase, or AWS Amplify High ownership mindset and attention to details Nice to have: Full-stack experience (e.g. Node.js, Python, Express, backend APIs) Ability to contribute to or debug backend systems when needed during integration work Experience with OAuth or external service integrations Familiarity with CI/CD for mobile apps (Fastlane, Codemagic, Bitrise) Experience with Firebase or similar backend services Exposure to health, fitness, or consumer apps Startup or early-stage product experience What You'll Love About Us HMO and government-mandated benefits covered Remote work opportunity.
