We are seeking a dedicated Family Medicine Physician (MD or DO) who will provide comprehensive, high-quality healthcare services in an ambulatory care setting. In this role, you will deliver medical care to a diverse patient population, support the education of future healthcare providers, and contribute to the overall mission of advancing wellness within the Indigenous community. What You’ll Do: Clinical Care & Patient Support Evaluate, diagnose, and treat a wide range of medical, obstetric, psychiatric, and surgical conditions within your scope of credentialing. Provide compassionate health education and counseling to patients and families. Make referrals to specialists and ensure appropriate follow-up care. Collaboration & Teamwork Work closely with a supportive team of medical providers, precepting mid-level clinicians as needed. Participate in after-hours on-call rotation and provide backup consultation to fellow PTHA providers. Engage in Peer Review, quality improvement initiatives, and organizational reporting processes. Education & Mentorship Serve as a preceptor for medical students and residents, supporting the PTHA Family Medicine Residency Program. Collaborate with medical schools as adjunct faculty when available. Hospital & Community-Based Care Perform hospital rounding for PTHA patients as scheduled (rounding only). Compliance, Professionalism & Cultural Respect Maintain accurate, timely charting and uphold HIPAA and organizational confidentiality standards. Demonstrate professionalism, self-care, and respect for Indigenous cultures, traditions, and values. Support infection control protocols and safety requirements. What You Bring: Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) from an accredited institution. Current license to practice medicine in Washington State. Board certified in Family Medicine with 5+ years post-residency or Board certified in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine with completion of a Geriatrics Fellowship. Current ACLS and/or PALS and/or ALSO certification. Experience with Electronic Health Records. Experience teaching or precepting medical residents.
