Description

The Facility Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and coordinating day-to-day maintenance and repair operations within facilities, ensuring that buildings, equipment, and infrastructure are kept in safe, functional and efficient condition. The role involves supervising a team of technicians or workers, managing schedules and ensuring compliance with safety standards and organizational policies.

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS

  • High school diploma or technical/vocational training in facilities management, engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in facility maintenance, with at least 3-4 years in a supervisory or foreman role in UAE.
  • Strong knowledge of building systems (electrical, plumbing, HVAC, mechanical, and structural).
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, manuals, and schematics.
  • Leadership, team management, and problem-solving skills.
  • Good communication skill both in Arabic and English.
  • Must have UAE Driving license

Responsibilities
  • Lead, assign, and supervise facility maintenance staff.
  • Plan, prioritize and schedule daily work orders and preventive maintenance tasks.
  • Monitor team performance and provide guidance, training and support.
  • Inspect facilities regularly to identify maintenance needs and safety hazards.
  • Ensure proper upkeep of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, mechanical and civil systems.
  • Oversee repair works and ensure timely resolution of maintenance requests.
  • Manage contractors and vendors performing outsourced services.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, work orders, and equipment logs.
  • Monitor inventory and ensure availability of tools, spare parts and consumables.
  • Prepare reports on maintenance activities, incidents, and performance metrics.
  • Enforce compliance with occupational health and safety regulations.
  • Ensure all maintenance activities are carried out safely and efficiently.
  • Support audits and inspections from regulatory bodies.
