Responsibilities

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES INCLUDE:

· Communication with internal stakeholders regarding daily plans and programs
· Working with the Head of Planning to produce daily programmes and issue to farms, factory and other internal stakeholders.
· Completion of required documentation to ensure authorisation of transporting live birds and slaughter.
· Ensuring all data is up to date for Planning Manager to produce required programmes.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

· Assist with planning relevant programme and updating database as needed to meet operational targets and maintain optimal bird numbers and weights. Communicate daily programme to all relevant areas in a timely manner.
· Act on behalf of the Agriculture Planning Team to establish requirements and resolve issues with other areas of the business as required.
· Coordinate agency, Farm Managers and booking of transport to ensure catching times and transport to the factory are communicated and actioned accordingly.
· Complete appropriate paperwork for licensing or legal requirements to ensure authorisation of transporting live birds as well as the slaughter (ATC- Animal Transport Certificates, EPHC at outbreak lincencing.gov.uk etc.)
· Communicate any bird welfare issues highlighted on the farms and report to the Head of Planning for further action.
· Work with the Technical Team to compile non-conformance information and actions.
· Assist Technical Team in any required customer traces.
· Maintain the live database and keep other files up to date to ensure accurate data for planning.
· Deputise for other members of the team when required e.g. holidays
· Support Farming Administrator on an ad hoc basis.

Pay: £25,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
