Your tasks

  • Moderation, execution and documentation of FMEA analyses (system, design, process) using Medini Analyze
  • Creation of Fault Tree Analyses (FTAs) for the deductive evaluation of security goals and requirements
  • Conducting Dependent Failure Analyses (DFA) according to ISO 26262-9, including description and evaluation of common causes.
  • Close collaboration with system architects, hardware, software and safety teams for the systematic analysis of safety-relevant functions.
  • Linking HARA, Safety Goals, FTA, DFA and FMEA in the safety concept
  • Support in creating and maintaining Safety Case elements
  • Preparation for and participation in assessments, audits and reviews (e.g. ISO 26262 Functional Safety Assessment)

Your profile

  • Completed technical studies (e.g., Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Computer Science)
  • Several years of experience in the field of functional safety according to ISO 26262
  • Excellent knowledge of FMEA (AIAG/VDA standard) and practical experience in the application of Medini Analyze
  • Experience in FTA and DFA as well as ideally further safety analyses (FMEDA, qualitative and quantitative methods)
  • Knowledge of safety-relevant processes (e.g., Safety Lifecycle, ASIL assignment, Safety Concepts)
  • Structured, analytical and team-oriented work style
  • Excellent German and English skills, both spoken and written.

Advantageous:

  • Experience in model-based systems engineering (e.g., SysML, AUTOSAR)
  • Knowledge of Polarion ALM for traceability documentation
  • Understanding of cybersecurity aspects (ISO 21434) or Safety & Security Co-Engineering
