About This Role: The FMS Budget Accountant will be responsible for assisting families with budgeting and service planning. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, attention to budget details as related to employer functions, review payroll and expenses against budget, and maintain program required documentation. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance OR equivalent years of experience; three to five years of on-the-job experience in a related field a plus. Must be familiar with basic accounting practices and principles. Experience working with Waivered Services Knowledge of CDCS FSE, FEA, and CSG programs Ability to juggle numerous tasks simultaneously with regular interruptions while maintaining a strong attention to detail. Advanced skills in the use of office technology especially Excel and MS Office Suite Knowledge and use of accounting software a plus. Demonstrated creativity, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills. Excellent organizational, problem solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
