Advanced Procurement teams, part of strategic sourcing, are the prime procurement responsible to the product management and engineering teams in the product groups. They are in charge, all along the product life cycle, to reduce product cost and risk, translate product requirements into negotiations inputs and objectives and to promote the preferred sourcing strategies. Key for success is the early involvement in the product life cycle to anticipate in appropriate supplier and solution selection, and to create the largest negotiation margin. Close cooperation with the central Product and EMS/ODM/OEM sourcing team is key in the total procurement offering to assure on-time delivery at minimum cost and increase negotiation leverage The Advanced Procurement Manager works in close collaboration with: * The Strategic Sourcing organization. * The Business Line: management, cost improvement management, Product management, Engineering… * The ODM and Resale Sourcing and Contracting team * External suppliers Advancing connectivity to secure a brighter world.
