EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS

• Experience in foaming and operating a foaming machine (foaming gun)
• Proven work experience as a Press Operator or similar role
• Proficiency in operating heavy machinery
• Keen attention to detail
• Relevant training and/or certifications as a Press Operator
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work as part of a team
• Ability to meet all physical and safety requirements
• Lift up to 50 lbs
• Standing for long periods of time
• Must be able to follow instructions as to how product is produced

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Operate a foaming injection machine safely to fill panels
• Operate machinery and maintain press to meet product specifications
• Prepare and calibrate machines
• Calibrate machinery
• Ensure proper maintenance, safety, and functioning of all equipment
• Report safety hazards, quality and production issues to supervision immediately;
• Ensure compliance to quality control standards;
• Handle incoming and outgoing parts safety and with care to avoid damage.
• Identify opportunities for improvement.
• Keep production area clean and organized
• Work as a team member to achieve company goals
• Maintain safe work area by complying with all safety procedures and standards
• Perform all the daily basic safety checks and observations, quality checks
• Utilize computer interface to operate the equipment;
• Wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment and adheres to all safety procedures as documents in the Job Safety Analysis (JSA);
• Perform other duties as assigned by your supervisor or manager
