Job Details Job Location: REST IP (Linq) - Las Vegas, NV Salary Range: Undisclosed Description Summary of Position: Remove used tableware between courses; clear and reset tables after guests leave. Bussers may also serve guests by providing refills as needed. Duties & Responsibilities: Obtain service area assignment at the beginning of each shift. Promptly greet guests as they are seated. Remove the used tableware between courses and provide tableware for next course. Clear tables after guests leave. Take soiled tableware to dish room and unload, sort and stack silverware, dishes, glassware, etc. in designated areas in the soiled dish drop-off area. Replenishing clean dishes, silverware and glassware as needed to designated areas. Between seating promptly clean tabletops, chairs and booths. Check the floor and clean as required. Reset and arrange tabletop. Where applicable inspect/clean and restock the assigned restroom every 30 minutes. Respond appropriately to guest requests. Communicate guest requests to server as needed. Communicate with server and hostess to assure efficient seating, table utilization and customer service. Assist server as needed with food delivery, especially with large parties and during peak periods. Thank guests as they are leaving. Be available to fill in as needed to ensure the smooth and efficient operations of the restaurant as directed by the restaurant manager or immediate supervisor. Qualifications Qualifications: Previous experience in food service setting is required. Ability to work efficiently in a fast past environment, while maintaining attention to detail. Have working knowledge of the predominant language(s) of our guests. Be able to lift, carry, reach, and bend down throughout entire shift.
Responsibilities
The FOH Busser is responsible for removing used tableware between courses and resetting tables after guests leave. They also assist servers with food delivery and ensure cleanliness in the dining area.
