ABOUT US:

Kelseys Roadhouse is a renowned casual dining restaurant known for its friendly atmosphere, delicious food, and a team that feels like family. We’re looking for an energetic, motivated, and experienced Front of House Manager to join our team at our Queenston and Nash locations. As a Front of House Manager, you’ll play a key role in delivering exceptional guest experiences while managing a dedicated team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Guest Experience: Ensure every guest has a memorable dining experience, promptly addressing concerns and ensuring satisfaction from arrival to departure.
  • Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and motivate the front of house staff, including servers, hosts, and bartenders.
  • Operations: Oversee daily front-of-house operations, including opening and closing procedures, inventory control, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Training & Development: Provide ongoing training for new staff, ensuring adherence to Kelseys’ service standards and operational procedures.
  • Staff Scheduling: Create and manage shift schedules for front of house team, ensuring adequate coverage and optimal labor costs.
  • Financial Management: Monitor and manage daily cash flow, tipping procedures, and ensure proper handling of POS transactions.
  • Communication: Act as a liaison between the kitchen, front of house, and management to ensure seamless service and timely food delivery.
  • Problem Resolution: Handle customer complaints or concerns in a professional manner, resolving issues to maintain positive guest experiences.

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience in a supervisory or management role in a similar fast-paced restaurant environment.
  • Exceptional leadership and team-building skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize in a busy environment.
  • Knowledge of POS systems and restaurant financials.
  • Flexible schedule availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Previous experience with staff training and development is an asset.
  • Passion for hospitality and a dedication to providing top-tier guest service.
