OVERVIEW:

Do you want to learn the basics of running a successful team and have fun doing it? Reporting to the General Manager and/or the Assistant General Manager, the Supervisor/Manager is responsible for assisting with the overall supervising activities of staff, ensuring cleanliness and sanitation, providing friendly and efficient guest service, and completing of occasional administrative duties according to company policy.

EDUCATION AND SKILLS:

  • Previous serving experience in a high volume, full-service restaurant.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, both written and oral.
  • Strong analytical/decision-making skills.
  • A positive and team-oriented attitude.
  • Must be able to work with minimal supervision and have a strong initiative.
  • You must be able to perform efficiently during high volume peak periods.
  • Must be able to work flexible hours during, evening, weekends and holidays.
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment.
  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule including opening, closing, weekends and holidays.
  • Must be eligible to work in Canada.

Responsibilities
  • Ensure that excellent levels of service are being delivered to the guests during service.
  • Ensure that all equipment used is in safe working order, checked regularly and any faults are reported to management, while ensuring equipment is not used until safe.
  • Action guest concerns and compliments by praising staff and resolve complaints in a timely manner.
  • Comply with all Boston Pizza policies and procedures and rules and regulations.
  • Shift management in support of management team.
  • Running food and performing table-side service during busy periods to support your serving team.
  • Assist the General Manager or Assistant General Manager with all aspects of restaurant operations.
  • Other duties as required.
