JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Folder/Gluer Operator to join our client’s team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in the production process by ensuring that materials are accurately folded, glued and prepared for packaging. This position requires a strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to work efficiently in a warehouse environment.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Proven experience (5+ years) in a warehouse or manufacturing environment is preferred.
  • Grade 12 diploma
  • Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot basic machinery issues.
  • Familiarity with fabrication processes and machining is a plus.
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality work.
  • Ability to lift and move heavy materials as required.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.

Responsibilities
  • Setup, adjust and run folder and adhesive machines to fabricate materials according to specifications.
  • Ensure that all folded products meet quality standards and specifications.
  • Perform routine maintenance on folding and adhesive equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Collaborate with team members to package finished products for shipment.
  • Maintain an organized and clean workspace, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
  • Assist in inventory management by tracking materials used during the folding process.
  • Responsible for accurate written and computer reporting.
