Description Embroidery Folder As a Folder in the embroidery department, you are responsible for organizing the embroidery orders from start to finish to ensure efficient and timely retrieval. You will be required to maintain shirts, pants, coveralls, and organize fabrics for shipping. The ability to prioritize tasks and adhere to deadlines is essential in this role. You will also be responsible for troubleshooting any problems or discrepancies that may arise. Supervisory Responsibilities: · None Job Responsibilities: • Ensure fabric productions are folded correctly and quickly. • Maintain a clean and organized workspace. • Sort items according to customer requirements. • Assist in the assembly of fabrics. • Label and seal items as needed, place finish goods on designated areas. • Keep accurate records of folded items completed. • Monitor the quality of the finished product. • Verify the accuracy of the embroidered orders before folding. • Maintain a working knowledge of all folding machines and equipment. • Follow all safety protocols when operating machinery. • Troubleshoot problems with machinery. Requirements • Ability to accurately organize, fold, and stack orders. • Ability to quickly and accurately identify different types of fabrics. • Ability to follow instructions and complete tasks efficiently. • Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines. • Attention to detail. • Knowledge of a variety of embroidery machine materials and orders. • Ability to identify and handle sensitive fabrics. • Ability to work independently and in a team. • Ability to lift and carry heavy boxes of documents. • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. • Basic computer skills. Physical Requirements: To perform the essential functions of this job, an embroidery department folder must be able to meet the following physical demand: · Must be able to stand on feet for long periods of time. · Ability to lift 35-50 pounds throughout the day. · Must know how to read measurements, and other productions machinery air hose, and snippet for fabrics. · During peak seasons weekends may be required. Education/Experience: · HS School Diploma or GED (required) · One to three years of Embroidery or folder experience in the manufacturing industry. · Custom Apparel one year experience. · Familiar with production system software.
