POSITION DETAILS: We are currently recruiting for a Folding Carton Packer to join our Garner, NC team! This individual will play a crucial role in supporting our Bindery (Finishing) department. The ideal candidate will have previous experience manufacturing type of environment; however, we are willing to train! Schedule: 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM, 4 days per week. Schedule rotates each month: first Monday–Thursday, then Tuesday–Friday. RESPONSIBILITIES: * Pack folding carton materials efficiently and accurately. * Inspects all finished products to ensure quality integrity prior to being prepared for shipment. * Work as a team member to meet production standards. * Prepares all finished products for shipment which includes boxing, taping, labeling, preparing a packing list, shrink-wrapping and banding when necessary. * Follow proper safety and quality procedures to ensure consistent and high-quality products. * Work in other areas in manufacturing as needed. * Knowledge and application of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) * Assists in clean up and keeping work area neat and orderly. QUALIFICATIONS: * High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience * One year of experience in a manufacturing environment preferred. * Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. * Must be able to read and interpret ruler, scales and other measurement devices. * One or more year(s) experience in a bindery, shipping, or packing role preferred. * While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand and frequently is required to walk. * The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds with or without mechanical assistance.

Responsibilities

The Folding Carton Packer is responsible for efficiently packing folding carton materials and inspecting finished products for quality before shipment. They also prepare products for shipment, including boxing, labeling, and following safety procedures.
