Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE

As a Food and Beverage assistant, you will work within our restaurant team to provide all guests with a friendly, professional dining experience that exceeds all expectations.

IN THIS ROLE, YOU WILL:

  • ensure each guest receives a warm welcome to the restaurant
  • maintain great knowledge of the menus and feel comfortable answering any menu-related or food recommendation questions
  • serve guests in a friendly, efficient manner while maintaining a clean and safe working environment
  • take all food and beverage orders accurately including any special requests and dietary requirements
  • demonstrate the ability to upsell items from the menu to enhance the guest experience and increase revenue
  • set up and clearing down before and after service to ensure all standards are met
  • be comfortable dealing with complaints professionally and passing all feedback to your manager.

TO BE SUITABLE FOR THIS ROLE YOU WILL:

  • have great people and guest service skills and an naturally bubbly personality
  • enjoy working as part of a close team in a fast paced restaurant
  • have previous experience of working in a high service restaurant/bar or hospitality business
  • demonstrate good attention to detail and awareness to anticipate the guests needs
  • take pride in your personal appearance and be well prensted for work.
  • want to learn more hospitality skills and continue to develop your knowledge of the industry.
    You standard working week will be 5 days over 7. Shift patters will be varied to include breakfast, lunch and dinner service on a rotational basis. Some split shifts will be required.
