Job Description We are seeking a friendly and professional Full time Food and Beverage Assistant to join our team at the Queen Anne Room at Cashel Palace Hotel. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to an environment where timeless elegance meets warm Irish hospitality. As a Food and Beverage Assistant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our guests receive exceptional service and unforgettable dining experiences. Welcome and seat guests in a warm and professional manner Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently Serve meals and drinks with attention to detail and presentation Maintain a thorough knowledge of menu items, daily specials, and beverage offerings Anticipate guest needs and respond promptly to requests Ensure tables are properly set and the dining area is clean and tidy Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate food delivery Process payments and handle cash and card transactions Adhere to food safety and hygiene standards Contribute to a positive team atmosphere and support colleagues as needed Qualifications Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanour Strong communication abilities and interpersonal skills Keen attention to detail and commitment to high standards of service Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment Good time management and organisational skills Team player with a positive attitude Knowledge of food and beverage service techniques Previous experience in food and beverage service is preferred Food safety certification is desirable Understanding of Irish hospitality traditions would be advantageous Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays Additional Information Great employee benefits as part of the overall package.
