ROLE PURPOSE:

An opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic F&B Assistant / Waiter within a busy conference, events and wedding venue on the outskirts of Tunbridge Wells. Please note that the start date for this position is 1st April 2025. As this is the start of our peak season, we are looking for full flexibility across the Summer months.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Delivering an attentive experience to all guests
• Welcome guests, serving drinks and food in a polite and friendly manner
• Prepare set ups for conference and event rooms
• Monitoring all aspects of the customers’ experience - from the layout before they arrive, to the experience they receive whilst with us and having the ability to remedy any potential problems
• Maintain the high standards of Salomons
• Establishing and maintaining good relationships with all guests
• Handling complaints, requests and enquiries
• Hands on approach with the ability to learn and adapt quickly
• Ensure cleanliness of work areas
• To notify the Manager or Supervisor where stocks/supplies are low.
• To support colleagues at peak times and to undertake any operational duty which might be reasonably required, to ensure customer expectations are met.
• To undertake any other duties as reasonably requested by a member of the management team in order to fulfil the needs of the business.
• Key Skills and Knowledge
  · Have previous experience working in a waiting/head waiting role in a similar high quality environment
  · Have exceptional organisational, supervisory and communication skills
  · Have a passion for providing excellent customer service
  · Be energetic and enthusiastic towards your work, positive attitude
  · Ability to work under pressure
  · Flexible
  · Experience with cash handling
  Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
  Pay: Up to £26,770.00 per year
