Job Title: Food & Beverage Assistant
Working Hours: Shifts between 7am and 11pm, Monday to Sunday

POSITION OVERVIEW:

We are seeking a friendly and efficient Food & Beverage Assistant to join our team at The Beeches Hotel. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service to our guests and visitors, ensuring their experience in our bar and restaurant is of the highest standard. You will play a key role in maintaining guest satisfaction and loyalty, while also helping to maximise revenue in our F&B areas.

Responsibilities
  • Breakfast Service: Assemble and maintain the breakfast buffet, ensuring it remains well-stocked, and clear cutlery and crockery from tables afterwards.
  • Customer Interaction: Address and resolve customer queries and complaints with a focus on guest satisfaction.
  • Cleaning Duties: Sweep, vacuum, and mop floors after each meal service; clean and sanitise tables and countertops, resetting them for the next service.
  • Food & Beverage Service: Provide prompt and efficient service of all meals, snacks, beverages, and room service orders, adhering to The Beeches’ standards for presentation and food quality.
  • Alcohol Service: Ensure compliance with regulations concerning the service of alcohol.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the kitchen and front-of-house teams, keeping them informed of table bookings and special requests throughout the day.
  • Event Support: Set up refreshments and buffets for events, referring to function sheets for timing and requirements.
  • Hotel Information: Assist guests with information regarding the hotel’s facilities and amenities, as well as local attractions.
  • Transactions: Process guest bills and bar orders, handling payments accurately.
  • Stock Management: Ensure all products are correctly stocked in all F&B areas.
  • Safety Compliance: Understand and adhere to the hotel’s fire procedures, participating in mandatory training every 6 months.
