Citadines Danube Vienna is looking for a curious, proactive, and resourceful Food & Beverage Team Member (m/f/d). Our colleagues are local experts who can provide our guests with the best tips for a wonderful and unforgettable stay. Our hotels are open 24/7, therefore the reception staff works in early (AM-PM) or late shifts (PM-PM). Citadines Danube Vienna is looking for someone for 40 hours per week.

They support our team in providing our guests with a unique stay. Citadines was conceived out of a love for cities and offers travelers the comfort of a serviced residence and the flexibility of a hotel.

As an employee in the food and beverage department (m/f/d), you will be responsible for:

• Welcoming and assisting our guests throughout their entire stay
• Preparation and setup of breakfast, lunch or event buffets
• Preparation of hot and cold breakfast dishes
• Cleanliness of the entire work area, as well as careful handling of all foodstuffs in compliance with hygiene standards (HACCP)
• Ensuring a smooth and fast service process
• Preparatory and follow-up work

To be successful in the position of employee in the food and beverage sector (m/f/d), you should:

• Fluent German and good English skills (both spoken and written)
• Excellent customer service skills and the ability to provide them with an unforgettable experience throughout the hotel.
• Willingness to quickly familiarize oneself with IT systems
• Strong communication skills and the ability to organize oneself according to the different expectations of the guests.
• Be organized, motivated, and a team player who enjoys working in an international team.

The employment relationship is governed by the collective agreement for employees in the hotel and catering industry. The legally stipulated minimum gross wage is €2,096.00 per month (based on 14 salaries, pay grade 5), pro rata, depending on the employee's qualifications and professional experience.
