Food and Beverage Attendant

Location: Coffee Club, Centuria Bunbury Centrepoint, Bunbury, Western Australia, Bunbury, WA

Employment Type: Full-Time, Permanent

Salary: $70,000 – $90,000 per annum plus superannuation

We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Food and Beverage Attendant to join our café team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced café environment and takes pride in delivering excellent service and creating memorable experiences for customers.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Welcome customers with a friendly and positive attitude.
• Present menus and assist customers with food and beverage selections.
• Take customer orders accurately and communicate orders to kitchen and cafe staff.
• Serve food, coffee, and beverages efficiently while maintaining presentation standards.
• Set up and arrange tables and customer service areas before and during service.
• Clear tables, remove used dishes and cutlery, and maintain clean customer areas.
• Restock displays, service areas, and customer supplies as required.
• Process customer payments using POS systems.
• Assist with general cafe operations and support team members during busy service periods.
• Maintain excellent food safety, hygiene, and workplace health and safety standards.
• Work collaboratively with the team to ensure smooth and efficient café operations.

Job Requirements

• Minimum one year of relevant experience in a cafe or restaurant.
• Certificate II or Certificate III in Hospitality, Food and Beverage, or a related field is desirable but not essential.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work efficiently in a busy café environment.
• Sound understanding of food safety, hygiene, and workplace health and safety requirements.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a supportive team.
• Positive attitude, reliability, and willingness to learn.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays.
