We are thrilled to offer an exciting opportunity to join our dynamic and professional team at Oaks Mackay Rivermarque Hotel as a Food and Beverage Attendant on a casual basis. We are seeking a passionate and motivated individual with a genuine enthusiasm for hospitality and a commitment to delivering exceptional guest experiences.

As a key member of our team, you will contribute to creating memorable dining moments for our guests. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Taking Guest Orders: Accurately and attentively recording orders to accommodate guest preferences.
  • Menu Expertise and Recommendations: Displaying comprehensive knowledge of our menu and confidently suggesting food and beverage options to enhance the dining experience.
  • Serving Food and Beverages: Providing efficient and professional service while ensuring guest satisfaction.
  • Delivering Exceptional Customer Service: Engaging warmly with guests, promptly addressing their needs, and striving to exceed their expectations.

This role requires availability for breakfast and dinner shifts and flexibility to work across all seven days of the week, including weekends and public holidays.

Responsibilities

TO SUCCEED IN THIS ROLE, YOU WILL DEMONSTRATE:

  • A warm and approachable demeanor with a positive attitude.
  • Proven experience delivering high-quality customer service.
  • Previous experience in a waitstaff or bar role.
  • A current RSA (Responsible Service of Alcohol) certification.
  • Professional presentation and exceptional communication skills.
  • Reliability, with the ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Flexibility to work across a rotating roster, including weekends and public holidays.
