The Role:
As an attendant in Bistro, you will be instrumental in providing the highest quality of service to our guests by working alongside and supporting the front-of-house service team. Reporting to the Restaurant leadership team, the primary responsibilities are greeting and seating guests, running food and drinks, supporting servers with glassware replenishment and polishing, clearing tables, setting tables, taking payment and replenishing service stations. You may also help with stocking, some prep work for cocktails, making cocktails, preparing coffees and any other tasks that are assigned by the Food and Beverage Manager.

EMPLOYMENT EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Friendly and outgoing personality with a passion for excellent guest service
  • Excellent grooming and professional presentation
  • Well organized during both slow and busy periods
  • Demonstrated knowledge of food and beverage operations including dining reservations.
  • Top candidates possess excellent communication and organizational skills, fluency in English (other languages considered and asset)
  • Self-motivated and are able to produce accurate work and provide exceptional guest service
  • You will have your Alberta ProServe, and have experience in a similar role
Responsibilities

Reporting to the Outlets Manager, the primary responsibilities are:

  • Provide the highest quality of service to our guests by working alongside and supporting the front-of-house service team.
  • Running food and drinks, clearing tables and setting tables.
  • Assist with glassware polishing and replenishment.
  • Provide information about the restaurant, hotel and surrounding area to guests.
  • Maintain a team-focused, positive, and productive relationship with all co-workers.
  • All other duties as may be required from time to time to ensure a high level of service and operational excellence are achieved.
