About Astra

Astra is voco Gosford's rooftop bar and restaurant, pairing Japanese-inspired cuisine with a cocktail program to match, all set against sweeping views of Brisbane Water and the Central Coast skyline. It's fast building a reputation as the place to be seen on the Coast — and our bar team is a big part of why.

The Role

We need an experienced bartender who lives for high-end service and knows their way around a serious cocktail list. You'll run the bar during peak service, bring a bit of theatre to every pour, and help build Astra's reputation one great drink — and one great guest experience — at a time.

What you'll actually be doing

• Craft and serve Astra's cocktail list to a high standard, every shift
• Bring energy, skill and genuine showmanship to service behind the bar
• Help develop new drinks and seasonal cocktail menus
• Manage stock, bar setup and pull off slick service even at full capacity
• Build the kind of guest connection that has people coming back
• Maintain RSA compliance and bar presentation standards

What you'll bring

• Solid experience in high-volume and high-end bars and venues
• Strong cocktail knowledge and technique — classics and your own creations
• Current RSA
• A natural way with people and a genuine love of hospitality
• The polish and confidence to work a premium rooftop venue
• Flexibility to work nights and weekends
