Join the magic of the holiday season at Philadelphia’s most beloved outdoor event! We are seeking a Food & Beverage Captain to oversee a pre-defined number of food booths at the Christmas Village in Philadelphia, located at LOVE Park and City Hall. This is a fantastic opportunity for experienced, hands-on food & beverage professionals who thrive in a fast-paced, outdoor environment and love the festive spirit of the holidays.
Job Duration:November through early January 2026
Location:LOVE Park & City Hall, Philadelphia, PAThis position takes place outdoors, warm apparel required.
Position Overview:As a Food & Beverage Captain, you will be responsible for the direct supervision and coordination of a group of food booths. You’ll ensure quality control, team coordination, booth compliance, customer satisfaction, and coaching and driving upsells across your assigned area. This is a leadership role requiring strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to stay calm and organized in a busy, high-volume setting.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Prior food & beverage supervisory or management experience highly preferred
  • Comfortable working long hours on your feet outdoors in cold weather
  • Strong leadership, time management, and problem-solving skills
  • Must be available to work weekends, evenings, and holidays
  • Experience in fast-paced environments (e.g., events, festivals, catering, food trucks, or other markets) preferred
