We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Food and Beverage Duty Manager to oversee operations of multiple outlets, including Breakfast, Gather & Trade Cafe, and Conference & Events. Reporting to the Director of Food & Beverage, the ideal candidate will have a passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences, a keen eye for detail, and strong leadership skills. Job Description Breakfast: Supervise and manage the daily operations of the breakfast service ensuring high-quality food and beverage offerings, adhering to Novotel's standards. Monitor and maintain breakfast service efficiency, addressing any issues promptly. Collaborate with the culinary team to develop and update breakfast menus. Gather & Trade: Visit us on insta @gathertrade Oversee the day-to-day operations of our café, Gather & Trade. Develop and implement strategies to enhance the cafe's profitability and guest satisfaction. Ensure a welcoming and customer-friendly environment. Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with suppliers for timely replenishment. Conference & Events: Manage the operational planning and execution of conferences, meetings, and events. Collaborate with the sales team to understand client requirements and expectations. Ensure seamless coordination between the kitchen, service staff, and event organizers. Uphold high standards of service during events, exceeding guest expectations. You will also be responsible for: Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing team. Foster a positive and collaborative work environment. Conduct regular training sessions to enhance team skills. Monitor employee performance and provide constructive feedback. Implement cost control measures to optimize profitability. Monitor sales and financial performance regularly, taking corrective actions as needed. Ensure exceptional guest experiences through consistent service excellence. Handle guest feedback and implement improvements as necessary. Foster a culture of guest-centric service among the team. Qualifications You will need: Full Australian Working Rights (this is a permanent full-time position). Proven experience in a similar role within the food and beverage industry. Strong leadership and interpersonal skills. Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities. Knowledge of industry trends and a passion for food and hospitality. Familiarity with point-of-sale systems and other relevant technologies.
