Career Vision Recruiters are delighted to partner with a leading 4-star hotel in County Waterford to recruit a passionate, experienced, and hands-on Food & Beverage Duty Manager. This role would suit someone who has a car and can drive to work.
This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated hospitality professional to play a key role in the daily operations of a busy, high-performing hotel. You will work closely with the Operations Manager and General Manager, supporting all areas of food & beverage service and overall guest experience.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Minimum 2–3 years’ experience in a similar food & beverage management role within a 3 or 4 hotel**
  • Strong background in restaurant, banqueting, and events operations
  • Excellent leadership and staff management abilities
  • Proficient multitasker with excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Knowledge of hotel front office or POS systems (Opera desirable)
  • Flexible and willing to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends

Responsibilities
  • Oversee the smooth day-to-day running of the hotel while on duty
  • Lead by example with a visible, hands-on presence across F&B outlets
  • Support the operations of weddings, events, bar, restaurant, and conference services
  • Monitor and uphold exceptional service standards across all departments
  • Train, guide, and motivate team members to ensure high performance
  • Liaise with department heads to ensure operational consistency and efficiency
  • Collaborate with the sales and marketing team to drive F&B revenue
  • Take full responsibility for the hotel during Duty Manager shifts
  • Ensure compliance with all HACCP and safety regulations
  • Deliver a warm and professional guest experience at all times
