POSITION SUMMARY   The Food and Beverage Guest Service Attendant supports the daily operations of food and beverage outlets. Ensures service standards are met, and guests receive a memorable dining experience in alignment with brand standards. Maintains cleanliness, organization, and professionalism while delivering exceptional guest service. CANDIDATE PROFILE Education and Experience • 1 year experience in the food and beverage, culinary, or related professional area. •Certificate in Hospitality (preferred) •hospitality experience is an advantage Required Competencies •Customer Service Orientation •Communication skills •Teamwork •Attention to Detail •Professionalism   CORE WORK ACTIVITIES Supporting Food and Beverage Operations •Complete opening and closing duties including setting up necessary supplies and tools •Ensure tables are properly set according to brand standards •Maintain cleanliness of work areas throughout the shift •Follow proper food handling, sanitation, and safety procedures •Stock and maintain designated service stations •Assist with buffet setup, replenishment and breakdown (if applicable). •Present menus, answer questions regarding menu items, and make recommendations upon request •Take accurate food and beverage orders using proper procedures •Serve food and beverages in a timely and professional manner •Check in with guests to ensure satisfaction •Addressing guest concerns promptly and escalate when necessary •Thank guests with genuine appreciation, Handling Payments •Process guest payments according to established cash handling procedures •Adhere to grooming and uniform standards •Follow company policies and procedures •Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information •Protect company assets •Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others •Support team to reach common goals •Stand, sit, or walk for extended periods •Move, lift, carry, pull and place objects weighing up to 10kg •Reach overhead and below the knees •Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors     Eligible for individuals with working rights in Fiji  At Marriott International, we are dedicated to being an equal opportunity employer, welcoming all and providing access to opportunity.
