POSITION OVERVIEW:

Metropolitan Club has an immediate opportunity for full-time experienced hospitality
executive who possess a passion for excellence in food, beverage, wine and service. The
successful candidate will have 3 or more years of food and beverage management
experience with a strong background in club, resort or hotel food operations, a successful
track record of food operations in excess of $1 million in annual revenues, a work history
of stable tenure, familiarity with budgeting while pursuing quality and service goals,
conversant with planning, and promoting member dining services, understand
current trends in fine and casual dining and demonstrate innovation and creativity in
event planning. A focus on member satisfaction is essential.
Requirements:
The Food and Beverage Manager is responsible for supervising food and beverage
services in the dining rooms, banquet events, maintaining food & beverage items in system, and other functions as assigned.
Lead and mentor staff and ability to work well with other management team members.
Supervise service staff including guiding, teaching and developing team members.
Also, knowledge and experience in HR procedures. Assist with food production tasks as needed,
ordering and inventory, personally design menus for all service times, special events and assure quality
and cost standards are consistently attained. Responsible for reviewing and prioritizing
facilities maintenance schedules and projects. Ensure that all support and service is
conducted and fulfilled in a manner consistent with the standards, goals, and objectives
of Metropolitan Club.
The Food and Beverage Manager reports to the General Manager and must have
an excellent working relationship and the ability to coordinate well with all members of
the management team. The Food and Beverage Manager will participate with various
committees and member groups as required.
