We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Food and Beverage Manager to join us and lead the Food and Beverage Department. Reporting into the General Manager, you will manage a team of chefs and cafe attendants. The areas of accountability include the Front of House and Back of House Operations for the club in Food & Beverage.
As a motivating Leader and key Club Leadership Team Member you will responsible for building the team and putting into place the operational systems to ensure efficiency and cost effectiveness and to create a culture of fun and professionalism.

EXPERIENCE:

  • Knowledge and skills in food and beverage service
  • Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrated commitment and ability to work as part of a dynamic team
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively as a manager with limited supervision
  • Responsible Serving of Alcohol (RSA)
  • Barista training
  • First Aid Certificate

Responsibilities
  • Ensure that the Café and Function employees adhere to all cost controlling procedures. Including management of COGS, and wage controls;
  • Conduct regular inspections, using formulated check lists to endure stock is being used and stored efficiently;
  • Implement and follow purchasing procedures to ensure efficiencies; and
  • Always act in the best interests of the Club with regard to minimising wastage costs and maximising revenue within the bounds of best practice.
