JOB OVERVIEW:

Reporting to our Operations Manager, We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Food and Beverage Manager to oversee all operations within the bar, restaurant, and banqueting departments of our busy hotel. This role is crucial to delivering exceptional guest experiences, especially during weddings, private functions, and day-to-day service. The ideal candidate will be a strong leader with a passion for hospitality and a proven track record in managing high-volume food and beverage operations.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Proven experience as a Food and Beverage Manager or similar role in a hotel setting.
  • Strong knowledge of banqueting and wedding event operations.
  • Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills.
  • Budget management experience and a strong understanding of F&B cost control.
  • Knowledge of licensing laws, food hygiene standards, and health & safety regulations.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
Responsibilities
  • Leadership & Operations
  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the restaurant, bar, and banqueting areas.
  • Lead, motivate, and develop the F&B team to deliver high service standards.
  • Ensure consistent delivery of high-quality food, beverages, and customer service across all outlets.
  • Event & Banqueting Management
  • Coordinate with the Wedding and events team to plan and execute weddings, banquets, and private functions.
  • Ensure all F&B requirements for events are met, including staffing, setup, and service delivery.
  • Bar & Restaurant Management
  • Manage bar stock levels, pricing, promotions, and compliance with licensing laws.
  • Oversee menu planning and service operations in the restaurant, ensuring efficiency and profitability.
  • Monitor guest feedback and implement improvements as needed.
  • Health & Safety Compliance
  • Ensure all departments meet health, safety, hygiene, and licensing requirements.
  • Train staff on food safety, alcohol service, and emergency procedures.
  • Team Development
  • Recruit, train, and manage F&B staff, ensuring strong communication and a positive team culture.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and provide ongoing development opportunities.
