About the Role

This is a senior leadership position carrying significant responsibility for the commercial performance, operational strength and future development of Wenty Leagues’ Food & Beverage portfolio.

 

You will lead through an experienced management team, with responsibility for:

  • Driving the financial and commercial performance of the Food & Beverage portfolio, including revenue, profitability, labour, margins and costs. 
  • Providing senior operational leadership across dining, bars, culinary, functions and events, procurement and inventory.
  • Growing revenue and profitability while protecting and evolving an already successful Food & Beverage offering.
  • Using financial and operational insights to drive performance and identify commercial opportunities.
  • Lead the development of menus, concepts and experiences that strengthen visitation, membership engagement and repeat business.
  • Oversee Wenty Events, procurement, supplier performance and key contractor catering relationships.
  • Lead and develop an experienced Food & Beverage management team.
  • Maintain strong governance across food safety, liquor licensing, RSA, WHS and operational risk.
  • Work closely with the CEO, COO and Executive Team.
  • Play a key role in the future development of the Club’s dining portfolio, including planned growth from 2027.

 

About You

  • Significant experience leading large, complex and high-volume Food & Beverage operations.
  • Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in a comparable senior F&B, hospitality or multi-venue leadership role.
  • Strong commercial and financial acumen, with a sound understanding of revenue, margin, labour, cost control and overall business performance.
  • Demonstrated leadership across dining, bars, culinary operations, functions and events, procurement and supplier relationships.
  • Proven ability to lead experienced managers and drive accountability through a strong leadership team.
  • Comfortable operating with substantial revenue and expenditure and using financial insights to guide commercial decisions.
  • Visible, decisive and commercially focused, with the ability to stay connected to the operation while maintaining a broader strategic view.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills and confidence working with senior leaders, contractors, suppliers and key business partners.
