Wyndemere Country Club (WCC) in Naples, Florida, is offering an exciting opportunity for a dynamic and highly qualified individual to join our high-performing leadership team as our new Food & Beverage Manager.

The Food & Beverage Manager will play a key role in ensuring these standards are upheld by leading all dining outlets and banquet operations with energy, vision, and a commitment to excellence. This hands-on leader will drive service innovation, develop a strong front-of-house team, and enhance the overall member dining and event experience.
Reporting to the Director of Food & Beverage, the Food & Beverage Manager’s primary focus will be the seamless execution of daily service, private events, and team development. Success in this role requires proactive planning, organizational strength, and a leadership style that is visible, approachable, and highly interactive with both members and staff. By fostering collaboration, accountability, and clear communication, the Food & Beverage Manager will contribute directly to WCC’s culture of hospitality and shared success.

POSITION OVERVIEW

The Food & Beverage Manager plays a pivotal leadership role in creating exceptional member and guest experiences across all dining outlets and banquet operations. This hands-on leader supports daily service execution, private event coordination, and front-of-house team development, all while maintaining the highest standards of hospitality. The successful candidate will be a visible, approachable presence on the floor, coaching, mentoring, and inspiring staff while building meaningful connections with members.
Reporting directly to the Director of Food & Beverage and working closely with the Clubhouse Manager, Executive Chef, and Events team, the Food & Beverage Manager ensures seamless service delivery and alignment with Wyndemere’s culture of excellence. This role requires a natural ability to lead by example, anticipate member needs, and contribute to a collaborative, high-performing team environment.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS

  • Minimum 2 years of progressive food & beverage leadership experience, preferably in a private club, resort, or luxury hospitality environment.
  • Proven ability to inspire, train, and lead high-performing service teams.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills, with a focus on member satisfaction.
  • Proficiency in POS and event management systems, as well as Microsoft Office (Word, Excel).
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods; lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
  • Comfort working in a fast-paced environment, including exposure to heat, noise, and varying indoor/outdoor conditions.

EDUCATIONAL AND CERTIFICATION QUALIFICATIONS

  • A bachelor’s degree is preferred with a focus on Hospitality Management.
  • In lieu of the degree, substantial private club or hospitality experience will be considered.
  • Industry certifications, such as CCM, are encouraged but not required.
Responsibilities
  • Oversee daily operations of all dining outlets and banquet services.
  • Maintain strong floor presence, supporting staff and engaging with members during service.
  • Partner with the F&B Director, Clubhouse Manager, Executive Chef, Event Manager, and other leaders to deliver flawless service and elevate the member experience.
  • Lead, train, and mentor front-of-house staff, fostering a culture of professionalism, accountability, and service excellence.
  • Manage schedules, pre-shift meetings, and staff development initiatives.
  • Participate in weekly BEO and operations meetings to ensure coordination and communication.
  • Promote private dining and special event spaces to enhance member engagement and Club revenue.
  • Resolve member concerns with discretion, professionalism, and care.
  • Uphold sanitation, safety, and emergency preparedness standards.
  • Complete nightly reports, oversee opening/closing duties, and serve as Manager on Duty (MOD) when scheduled.
  • Support departmental projects, special initiatives, and cross-functional club events.
