Description The Food & Beverage Operations Internship is designed to provide hands-on experience across multiple operational areas within hospitality and culinary management. This internship offers exposure to both front-of-house and back-of-house operations, allowing the intern to develop a well-rounded understanding of food service, banquet execution, catering coordination, guest experience management, and hospitality administration within a professional hospitality environment. Requirements Pastry Operations Support daily pastry production, preparation, and plating Assist with dessert presentation and kitchen organization Gain exposure to menu development and recipe preparation Maintain cleanliness and organization within the pastry kitchen Learn inventory awareness and kitchen workflow procedures Catering Sales & Event Planning Assist with event planning and coordination Support client communication and administrative tasks Review banquet event orders (BEOs) and event logistics Assist with coordinating food and beverage services for events Observe catering sales and operational processes Front of House Management Gain experience in dining room operations and guest service standards Assist with staff coordination and daily service management Support floor operations during service periods Learn hospitality leadership and communication practices Observe operational procedures and guest experience management Seasonal Food Outlet Management Support management of seasonal food and beverage outlets Assist with service flow and operational efficiency during peak periods Maintain inventory awareness and restocking procedures Support guest service and overall guest experience Learn high-volume seasonal operation management Banquet Kitchen Operations Assist with large-scale event preparation and execution Support banquet kitchen organization and food production Learn banquet timing, coordination, and workflow management Assist with setup and breakdown for events Maintain sanitation and organizational standards Banquet Service Operations Assist with banquet setup, execution, and breakdown Learn event flow and front-of-house banquet coordination Support communication between service and culinary teams Observe private event operations and guest management Gain exposure to large-scale event execution Finance & Administrative Exposure Gain general exposure to hospitality financial operations Observe budgeting, purchasing, and cost-control practices Assist with basic administrative and organizational tasks Learn how financial planning supports food and beverage operations Develop an understanding of operational reporting and inventory tracking Human Resources Exposure Gain exposure to hospitality human resources operations Assist with employee engagement and appreciation initiatives Observe scheduling, onboarding, and team communication processes Learn about workplace culture and staff development practices Support general administrative functions related to team operations
