POSITION OVERVIEW:

As a Server at Mano’s Restaurant and Lounge, you will be an integral part of a collaborative team dedicated to delivering a memorable dining experience to our guests. We are looking for individuals who are passionate about hospitality and customer service, and who take pride in exceeding guests’ expectations. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a warm and engaging personality, and a genuine desire to ensure each guest feels welcomed and valued.
Special attention will be given to individuals with flexible schedules.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Previous experience in a similar role in a casual to fine dining establishment is preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a friendly, outgoing personality.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to providing exceptional service.
  • Knowledge of food and beverage items, including wine pairing, is an asset.
  • Must be able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.

Responsibilities
  • Greet guests warmly upon arrival and provide exceptional service throughout their dining experience.
  • Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring all special requests and dietary preferences are noted.
  • Collaborate closely with kitchen and bar staff to ensure timely and accurate delivery of orders.
  • Maintain a thorough knowledge of menu items, including ingredients and preparation methods, to answer guest inquiries and make recommendations.
  • Anticipate guests’ needs and proactively address any concerns or issues to ensure a seamless dining experience.
  • Upsell menu items and promote specials to enhance the overall guest experience and increase revenue.
  • Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately and efficiently, following established procedures.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, dining areas, and service areas to uphold our standards of cleanliness and presentation.
  • Embrace a culture of teamwork and mutual support, always willing to assist fellow team members to ensure the smooth operation of the restaurant. At Mano’s, “that’s not my job” isn’t part of our vocabulary.
