Description

About the Role

You will coordinate and supervise service delivery across the Club’s Bar, Restaurant, and a dynamic calendar of high-volume events including corporate functions, weddings, cocktail receptions, themed lunches, sporting gatherings and our signature Club events. Reporting directly to the Food, Beverage and Events Manager, your scope spans seven elegant floors—often with multiple events taking place simultaneously.

In this hands-on role, you’ll work closely with staff and management at all levels to ensure exceptional service outcomes, always maintaining a sharp eye for quality and detail. You’ll lead by example, supporting and developing your team through ongoing coaching, training, performance reviews, and collaborative leadership.

We’re Looking for Someone Who:

  • Has at least 3 years proven experience as a team leader or supervisor within premium hospitality venues
  • Demonstrates outstanding communication, negotiation, and organisational skills
  • Maintains high grooming standards and a polished professional presence
  • Possesses strong food and beverage knowledge and skills, including functions, a la carte and fine dining service
  • Can confidently lead and train a growing team
  • Has an uncompromising commitment to excellence and attention to detail
  • Excels at conflict resolution and problem-solving under pressure
  • Offers flexibility for both day and evening shifts
  • Brings a creative flair and sharp memory to service delivery
  • Is patient, personable, and brings a great sense of humour to the team dynamic

What We Offer in Return:

  • A safe and inclusive workplace culture
  • Training training and professional development opportunities
  • A tailored staff wellness program and reward & recognition initiatives
  • Access to Employee Assistance Program (EAP) resources
  • Complimentary staff meals
  • Suit allowance post-probation and weekly suit dry cleaning
  • Uber travel support for late finishes
  • A vibrant staff social calendar—quarterly drinks, dinners, and an annual celebration
  • Generous discounts on Club wines

Beyond the day-to-day, you’ll play an integral role in cultivating member relationships, enhancing member engagement, and contributing to the creative refresh of our banquet offerings. If you thrive under pressure, possess mature interpersonal skills, and share our commitment to trust, integrity, honesty and respect, you’ll be an ideal fit for our team.
