We are seeking a professional, motivated and customer-focused Food and Beverage Supervisor to join our hospitality team on a permanent basis. The successful candidate will support the Food & Beverage Manager in delivering an outstanding dining experience across our restaurant, bar and events, ensuring high standards of service, presentation and guest satisfaction. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with supervisory experience who is passionate about hospitality and leading a small team. Key Responsibilities Supervise daily Food & Beverage operations including restaurant, bar and banqueting functions to ensure consistent service and guest satisfaction. Lead, motivate and coach front-of-house team members; assist with recruitment, induction and on-the-job training to maintain high standards. Deliver excellent customer service by greeting guests, managing reservations, handling enquiries and responding effectively to feedback or complaints. Ensure smooth shift handovers, allocate duties and oversee staffing levels to meet business demands and budget requirements. Assist with service planning for events and private functions, coordinating with kitchen, events and housekeeping teams to ensure timely delivery. Maintain front-of-house presentation standards Follow cash handling, billing and reconciliation procedures accurately; support bar stock control, ordering and deliveries as required. Ensure compliance with health & safety, food hygiene and licensing regulations; complete daily checks and report any incidents or hazards. Contribute to regular team meetings and support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance guest experience and operational efficiency. About You Previous supervisory experience within a restaurant, hotel or hospitality environment is essential. Excellent communication and customer service skills with a calm, professional manner when dealing with guests and colleagues. Strong organisational ability and attention to detail with the capacity to prioritise tasks in a busy setting. Sound knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices. Team player with leadership skills, able to motivate others and maintain morale during busy periods. Flexible approach to working hours including evenings and weekends and a reliable, professional attitude. Working Pattern & Pay Contract: Permanent, Full-time (hours may vary to meet business needs). Hours: Shift patterns include early, late and weekend shifts; exact hours subject to rota. Rate of pay: Competitive and dependent on experience. Benefits Company pension scheme.
