Responsibilities

JOB PURPOSE

To ensure that all guests are greeted in a friendly and courteous manner. To ensure food and beverage servers are checking on tables and adhering to company’s policy. To ensure guest satisfaction.
Please note the list below is not an exhaustive list and your role will be flexible and will vary accordingly as dictated by the needs of the business and the requirements of the individual customer.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • To primarily help all guests with customer service skills, in line with our Company standards and procedures
  • Meet Greet and Seat Guests
  • To actively promote our Specials and Wines
  • Dealing with requests, queries and suggestions and resolving guest complaints relating to your shift, quickly and efficiently.
  • Completing duties / checklist accurately and in a timely manner each shift
  • Stock control and ordering of beverage and condiments
  • Respect for the instruction given by management and the willingness to work hard.
  • To ensure good working relationships with colleagues and management,
  • To be fully aware of and strictly adhere to Health and Safety, fire and security procedures.
  • To record and report all faults and damage arising to maintenance and management.
  • To record, report and process lost property according to hotel procedures.
  • To provide a clear handover with the following shift.
  • To undertake any other business or ad-hoc duties relevant to the post, as and when required.
