Description

• Supervise the restaurant during service, ensuring a premium guest experience aligned with InterContinental's luxury standards.

• Support and guide team members during shifts, ensuring they follow service and grooming standards.

• Coordinate daily operational tasks, including section set-up, cleanliness, teppanyaki grill readiness, and beverage service preparation.

• Manage roster adjustments and shift coverage in real time to support efficient service delivery.

• Look after stock and supplies, including placing orders, assisting with stock counts, and resolving stock issues.

• Interact professionally with guests, offering warm, attentive service and resolving issues in a timely manner.

• Deliver training and mentorship to new and current team members, focusing on refined service techniques and product knowledge.

• Host pre-shift briefings to energise and inform the team.

• Follow all health and safety procedures and ensure team compliance.

• Collaborate effectively with the kitchen team and other departments to support seamless operations and guest satisfaction.

What We Need From You

• Minimum 2 years' experience in a senior Food & Beverage or supervisory role, ideally within a premium dining environment.

• Knowledge of sake, spirits, and wine is highly regarded.

• A confident leader with a hands-on approach and a strong sense of responsibility.

• Ability to maintain high service standards in a dynamic, guest-facing environment.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong guest-first mindset.

• Knowledge of stock and inventory control systems is beneficial.

• Sound understanding of health and safety compliance.

• Impeccable personal presentation and a commitment to reliability.
