Description Directly assists F&B management team in directing and coordinating food service facilities, acts as MOD (Manager on Duty,) as needed, and provides clerical and administrative support to the Food and Beverage Department. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Assist Food & Beverage Management in implementing established procedures for the Food & Beverage Department. Administer the Food & Beverage policies and procedures in all food and beverage outlets. Train and evaluate food and beverage personnel. Supervise and coordinate activities of all Food & Beverage employees engaged in providing meals and/or beverages to patrons and employees. Compile, adjust and post personnel shift schedules weekly and as needed. ADDITIONAL DUTIES Ensure accurate record keeping. Prepare, review, and analyze reports, as assigned by Food and Beverage Management. Ability to be a working supervisor to perform as Food and Beverage Server, bartender, and/or Cashier as needed. Assist with interviews and hiring for positions within the food and Beverage Department, as directed by venue managers. Promote positive customer relations and resolve complaints made by patrons and/or employees regarding food and/or service. Assist with monthly food, liquor, beer and wine inventory, creating spreadsheets to track. Assist with evaluating performance of all front of the house employees. Use, train and monitor Agilysys POS cash system. Attend all mandatory meetings and training. Other duties may be assigned. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES As necessary, while acting as Supervisor. This includes scheduling duties and written corrective actions if needed. Acts in the place of the manager when they are not present. Relays all pertinent information to the Food and Beverage management team daily. Requirements EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE AA Degree Three years’ experience in hospitality / food service OR 5 years of progressively responsible F&B experience CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS Must be able to obtain and maintain a Gaming License from the Squaxin Island Gaming Commission. Washington State Food Worker Card Class 12 Mixologist Permit PHYSICAL DEMANDS The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
