We are seeking a dedicated Food and Beverage Supervisor to join our team. The ideal candidate will oversee all aspects of the food and beverage operations, ensuring exceptional service and quality to our customers. Banquet and Events experience is considered an asset.
The role of Food and Beverage Supervisor at the Kelowna Golf and Country Club is to guarantee the complete satisfaction of members at all times and to promote a safe and efficient working environment for all staff. You are responsible for guaranteeing exceptional customer service and encouraging a strong work ethic. As a supervisor you are charged with ensuring all staff performs to the best of their abilities and that our high level of standards are always upheld.

· Assisting in the training of new staff.
· Oversee all FOH operations (restaurant and banquet).
· Serving members and their guests.
· Finding appropriate replacement staff when staff members call in sick or in case of emergency.
· Assigning dining rooms and sections appropriately.
· Follow function notices and ensure proper set-up of banquet rooms.
· Monitor staff performance, do staff evaluations, communicate with staff areas in need of improvement.
· Maintain health and safety standards.
· Attend Supervisor meetings.
· Assisting with inquiries or complaints.
· Have adequate working knowledge of Jonas POS system and navigating menu screens. Have thorough knowledge of menu items, preparation time and techniques.
· Correct daily chits – make sure signatures and account #’s are correct, items charged correctly.
· Ensure a cleanly working environment by assigning duties as see fit
· Greet and seat members and their guests.
· Ensure that all members are enjoying their meals and that their visit is pleasurable. Provide feedback on service to staff. Maintain quality.
· Ensure servers are providing proper service of food and beverage in a friendly manner. Encourage a positive attitude among staff.
· Observe all dining areas and be aware how service is progressing. Ensure all rooms are running smoothly and adjust sections if necessary.
· Work efficiently with kitchen staff to rectify any problems or mistakes. Communicate with all employees in a precise, polite and effective manner.
· Handle situations or conflict among members or staff in a calm and confident manner, retaining professionalism at all times.
· Assist in other departments of clubhouse as needed. Other duties as assigned.
